Supply and Waste Chains, Hall building, faster SRCS, plot calculations, and everything is up to date on the UI for the release!
Chains can be setup from the Trade Ministry.
Negative plot count affects happiness production and could wipe out accrued positive happiness, but doesn't have as much of an effect on planets that are already down in the negative happiness area.
Stockpile rule change means that colonies and capitols benefit once your university passes 25.
Secondary foods as a result of their change produce better.
Build up to 50 plans of a type from the Arch Ministry!
A Big thank you to fireartist and Ysthane for all their work on this release!
Mod: Being at negative plots makes your people unhappy.
Trying to understand this. Planet with 60 plots for example, all 60 in use. BHG misfires. Suddenly you have 35 plots, thus you would be at -25 plots. What kind of happiness damage we talking about?
Another case, Thuds. They temporarily destroy lots (wiki says). I've never bothered with them since they seem to only cause nuisance rather than an actual help in combat (do damage or remove happiness). So, now if they remove 1 plot... how much happiness goes away if any from the cache of happiness u have? How much reduced per hour?
Among the things I am wondering, is whether maxing ur plot use affects the above. If u have 60 plots and 50 used; say 10 thuds land... you lose no happiness? But if you have 55 used and 10 thuds land, do you lose happiness?
------------
Also, dunno if its lag or what. I up graded a lvl 21 Great Ball to level 22. Worked with one Hall built. Have plenty of halls left. But lvl 23 Great ball wont show up in the next hall I build. I refreshed the browser... several times. Back to scripted hall placement for now.
--------
Physically placing the 22 worked. And now its back to working thru one hall just fine... Dunno why it didn't like that level.
correct me if i am wrong.

i think it was something along the lines of 50*1.65^(-plot count) or something around there... 1.66? you can do the math, i'm lazy.... 13.6M or something around that with 1.65 modifiers?

they don't make you have -plots.... or i was sseriously not paying attention when i was thudding my own planets... they just reder an area on the planet surface unusable for a couple o days via a smoking crater.

depends on how much i was paying attention i guess :P
The Negative Plot usage stuff:
Since a player already figured out the formula, it's 50 * 1.62^(neg plots), so from a misfire of a BHG and dropping 30 plots would cause at most 96m/hr hit. (Though if you swap into an orbit you're not native too, that could be very bad.)
There's a maximum negative cost from plot usage. However, that's determined after subtracting from your happiness production.
That maximum drops to only -10k/hr if the planet is at negative happiness. (Though the cross over into negative can still wind you deep in a hole.)
Also related:
Thuds do not take plots. They create a Smoldering Crater which takes a space up for 1-7 days.
Bleeders take space and plots and will push a planet into negative plots. (However, they don't count for population anymore.)
Supply Pods no longer take a plot.
I'll have to take another look at the hall stuff. I didn't get a chance to play with it as much.

So.... BHGing that nice planet in orb 8 into ur orb 5 slot... is gonna be harmful to ur happiness..... meh.
I have a planet with -46 plots plots due to the BHG / orbit 8 scenario - It's now running -18.6B/hr happiness
Yeah, not likikng this particular effect. All the other consequences & such are severe enough. This one... even when u suceed you get harmed. Terra plats.. I guess.
Satill waiting for the lag to go away. I click,. tab out and go do something else. Literally. Spending more time doing less (waiting).

Looking at the waste chain... It seems that % rate is reversed. When I have whatever scow(s) and place a tiny amount of waste dumped per hour... the percent shows a HUGE number. But when I place a HUGE amount dumped the number shrinks...
Seems like it should be the opposite to reflect the capacity of the scows dumping. Small amount dumped per hour = small percentage of the capacity used. Large amount entered to dump... larger % of the capacity... up to 100% or over (meaning it wont dump that much). Just like with mining ministry.
Just think its reversed somehow and a bit consfusing the way it is.
Halls.
Having the same problem as before. One hall works IF you have 30 sufficient open spaces. But once u start filling the open spaces, you can't build things with halls beyond the number of open spaces that you have.
Example:
One hall built. 20 open spaces.
Level 23 Great Ball.
It will NOT let you build the Great Ball with halls until you clear 4 more spaces...
Destroy 4 buildings and... now you can built the Great Ball via one Hall.
----
Lags minutely better than yesterday.
Still takes an hour to do what I could do before in 10 minutes. Scripts still hang due to lag. And placing new 15 second buildings... you have to wait 15-20 seconds after the first one completes to add a new one.
I know it wasn't intentional and ya'll are working on it. Just letting you know, because it is very unpleasant as a customer/player. I almost don't want to do even maintenance right now... takes sooo long.
-----
Its almost funny. Emptied the que on one planet. Waited a few miniutes, came back and ran a script to plant halls (meant to make halls, hit the wrong one). When it finally loaded... it said the que was still busy... even tho nothing had been in que for *several* minutes.
-----
hour and 30 min.
not even half my planets gone thru.
Stopped trying to que what I wanted most, and am just doing longer builds... so I can ignore this and shut it down. Its just too much.

You need that number of open spaces (or placed halls) to be able to sacrifice that many halls. So yes, you need a combination of placed halls plus open space for upgrading a level 24 Great Ball.
