A Dory is a small fast version of a Cargo Ship. It can be built at the Shipyard after you build a Trade Ministry.
You can use a Dory to push goods between your colonies, haul ore and water back from asteroids being mined by your Mining Platforms, or to trade with other players.
Shipping goods between colonies is called 'Pushing'. You can initiate a push by going to the the Trade Ministry and clicking on the 'Push' tab.
