An Observatory Seeker is a variant of a Snark, except that it will only strike an Observatory. If there is no Observatory available on the target planet, it will turn around and return to base. If the Observatory has been reduced to 0%, it will still hit the wreckage.

You can build an Observatory Seeker if you have a level 10 Munitions Lab.
