The Placebo is a ship that can be used to do a fake attack. It can make people misdirect their defenses to one location, when in fact you have an attack coming at something else. There are six levels of placebo ships, that can be built between level 5 and 30 of the Cloaking Lab. The different levels provide different speeds that can be used to simulate different types of ships.

Caveats

Placebos are not weapons. They will do no damage to a planet you attack.

Placebos will scuttle themselves on arrival to their target destination. Therefore they are one use.

Placebos will not trigger the defense of the target planet, so they cannot be used to take out drones, etc.
