The Security Sweep assignment is used to capture enemy agents who are:
- idle for more than 7 days
- in recovery from running a mission either successful or not
- that are infiltrating after arrival on a planet.
Running this mission on a daily basis on each of your planets can help to keep your planets free from hostile agents.
Security Sweep will ignore allied
spies even if they have run an offensive mission against you.
Lower level
spies attempting to catch much higher level
spies do have a chance of being Killed in Action, KIA.
