Buildings are how you advance through the technology tree (tech tree) in The Lacuna Expanse. Each building serves at least one specific purpose, and some buildings serve many purposes.

Distribution Center
The Distribution Center is a tier 2 storage building with greater density than the regular storage buildings. You can store all 4 basic resource types in a single distribution center. You may only have 2 distribution centers per planet.

Subspace Supply Depot
The subspace supply depot (SSD) is an amazing technology created by Lacuna Expanse Corp. Only they know exactly how it works, but it enables you to build a fledgling colony much faster than you could on your own.
