This assignment will capture one spy on the target planet and steal 1 cargo class ship and use it to send the captured spy back to your spy's home planet. This mission does require that a cargo class ship be available on the target planet and that an agent be assigned to defense.

Appropriate Resources
This mission allows you to steal 1 plan from storage on a planet or to steal 1 level from a building on the planet. In either case a success will give you 1 building plan should one be available. If there are no plans in storage and your spy attempts to steal a plan from there you will get a notice regarding no plans available.

This assignment if successful will kill 1 defending spy on the planet. This mission also has a high chance if the attempt fails of getting your own agent killed.

Counter Espionage
When you give your spies the assignment to Counter Espionage, what you're doing is telling them to foil plots far and wide. If possible, not only will the plot be foiled, but the opposing spies will be captured and imprisoned. It's also possible that they might be killed in the process, but spying is a dangerous game.

Espionage Ministry
The Espionage Ministry allows the construction of spy pods, or, at level 15, spy shuttles, at the shipyard. It also allows better offensive training of your spies. The higher the building level, the more effective your spies will be applying their trade.

When you tell your spies to gather intelligence there is all kinds of information they can get for you, and what they get depends on where they are.

Insurrection is the thing you should fear most in the game. It is the ultimate ability of a spy, in that it will allow a spy to steal an entire colony from you. Don't worry, it isn't easy as long as you try to defend yourself you shouldn't have to worry too much. Here are the things you need to know. A spy cannot incite insurrection:

The Intelligence Ministry is where you train and manage your new spies. You may train 3 spies per level of this building. You may only construct 1 Intelligence Ministry on a planet.

When successful this mission will allow you to free one captured spy upon success, the freed spy could be one of your own or a spy belonging to another player. Failure though has an exceptionally high chance of getting your own spy caught

This assignment will if successful damage a building on the targeted planet in the same way that a Snark I would.
